Phone Technology Developments

May 7th, 2008

Over time theres been massive expansion in cell phone industries, with advances in technology and capability. The range of available options and services from the cell handsets and on the networks has changed, mostly because the companies cannot continue to sell the same large volume of new handsets to new customers as they used to. Most people now have at least one handset already, and most families have many. The companies therefore add additional services for subscribers for a cost and are then able to make more money. For example browsing the web remotely on your phone is becoming commonplace. Another cell service is free reverse cell lookups which are designed to allow people to look into who owns a particular phone by searching on the number. They appear free but only the search is free, to access the results they charge a small fee, and so make lots of money.
