GPS or global positioning system, have now become totally mainstream. In fact my mother in law just bought one for her car. We never considered her a techie but she loves her new GPS. If a 70 year old can understand and get the GPS working in a few minutes that tells you just how easy they are to use. One of the best known makers of GPS is Garmin, though the model we have on our boat is a RayMarine. We boat on the chesapeake Bay and it really comes in handy when boating after dark.
